About a year or so ago my wife purchased a Cannon Rebel XS Digital Camera from a friend. She took a few random images of the kids, or a barn, or some scenery. After the initial use it sat in a corner untouched for many months. I have always loved the art and imagination of photography so I asked if I could try using the camera. Initially that thing scared me. Looking at all the buttons and dials. I thought, "Guess I better go buy a book". I purchased one titled "Beyond Auto Mode". I learned the basics of it and took off from there.
For many months I took hundreds of pictures for free just refining my skills with the various settings of the camera. I take time to set the camera settings manually so it will minimize time needed for editing and to bring out the best quality image for you. I take great pride in my work. Many of the images I take and publish never see an editing program, which is something I am proud of. I have always cringed at the sight of the "Photographers" that over-edit their images. In my own personal opinion, it takes away from the subject and says to everyone that you can't take good pictures and need bells and whistles to hide that fact. People don't want to know you can edit the snot out of your pictures, they want to see the subject.
I have reached the point in my passion that I feel it is time to share my style with you. If you have ideas or just want to have a themed shoot, please feel free to contact me. I am always looking to try new ideas and new locations.
I look forward to serving you or your loved ones with my style.
